EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES WITH WILDWATER

Thank you for your interest in joining the Wildwater team. We are a growing company offering river adventures across Washington State. Our river season starts at the beginning of April and runs through the end of September, with peak season lasting from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. RAFT GUIDES
We are looking for full-time and part-time raft guides for the upcoming river season. To be considered for a full-time guiding position you must be available from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. Part-time guides will be utilized on the weekends with some midweek opportunities.
If you are new to the whitewater industry you will need to participate in a guide training course (100% refundable if you work 10 commercial trips in your first season) to be certified as a river guide in Washington State. During our in-house course, you will train in all of the required skills to become certified as a river guide, no previous experience is necessary to sign up. If you have an interest in working at Wildwater, we highly recommend attending our guide training courses to be considered for hire for the season.
Already an experienced and certified river guide interested in becoming part of Team Wildwater? During the hiring process, we look for individuals with competent river skills, strong leadership abilities, positive attitudes, good work ethic & the ability to communicate effectively with others. Among these qualities, you are required by the state of Washington to minimally hold a current certification in First Aid & CPR.
KAYAK INSTRUCTORS
Now hiring additional kayak instructors for the upcoming season. Kayak Instruction courses are held in the months of June, July, and August, with locations ranging from the Wenatchee River Valley to the Columbia River Gorge depending on skillset and river levels. While ACA Instructor certifications are not required, we highly encourage previous experience to qualify. A minimum of First Aid & CPR certifications are required to become an instructor at Wildwater.
OFFICE / BASE OPERATIONS STAFF
Daily tasks for base staff may include but are not limited to, answering the phone and taking reservations, photographing rafting trips, writing blogs, helping with newsletters, and other tasks. During the hiring, we look for individuals that are self motivated, positive attitude, good work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with others.
RAFTING TRIP PHOTOGRAPHER
Duties include photographing rafting trips, sorting photos, selling photos, and other relevant tasks. You must have reliable transportation and have a valid driver's license. If you don't have your own camera we will provide one for you.
INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES WITH WILDWATER
Each year we offer internship opportunities for college students interested in a career in the outdoor industry. We accept applicants majoring in outdoor education, outdoor recreation, marketing, and other relevant fields. Contact us for more information.
